UDebhora wayesazi ukuba uBharaki nomkhosi wakhe balindele ukuba athi mazitshe. Ngaba yayinguye yedwa umfazi owayelapho? Kwakunjani ukuthwala uxanduva olungako? Ngaba wayezibuza ukuba ufuna ntoni pha? Kucacile ukuba akunjalo! Kaloku waxelelwa nguYehova uThixo wakhe ukuba aqale le mfazwe, ibe wayesele etshilo nokuba uza kusebenzisa umfazi ukuyiphelisa. (ABagwebi 4:9) UDebhora nala majoni anesibindi bangasifundisa ntoni ngokholo?

“HAMBA UZE UZITHI SAA KWINTABA YASETABHORE”

UKumkani wamaKanan uYabhin wawaphatha kakubi esebenzisa injengele yakhe uSisera.

Ayetyhwatyhwa amaSirayeli xa esiva igama elithi Sisera! AmaKanan ayenamasiko nendlela yokunqula ekhohlakeleyo, ibe kwakudla ngokubingelelwa ngabantwana, kukho noonongogo basetempileni. Inoba kwakunjani ukuphathwa ngumkhosi nayinjengele yomKanan? Kwingoma kaDebhora sifunda ukuba abantu babehamba nzima elizweni ibe neelali zabo zazikhal’ ibhungane. (ABagwebi 5:6, 7) Khawube nomfanekiso-ngqondweni wabantu bezimele emahlathini nakwiinduli, besoyika ukulima nokuhlala kwiilali ezingabiyelwanga, besoyika ukuhamba kwiindlela zikawonkewonke kuba beza kuhlaselwa, abantwana babo bexhwilwa nabafazi babo bedlwengulwa. *

Kangangeminyaka eyi-20 amaSirayeli ayehlala esoyika, de uYehova wabona ukuba abonakala eguqukile, okanye njengoko ingoma kaDebhora noBharaki ephefumlelweyo isitsho, “De mna, Debhora, ndaphakama, de ndaphakama njengomama kwaSirayeli.” Asazi ukuba uDebhora, umfazi kaLapidoti wayenabo kusini na abantwana, kodwa la mazwi ayefuzisela. UDebhora wakhuthaza uBharaki ukuba ahlangule abantu bakaThixo

UYehova wathi kuDebhora, “Hamba uze uzithi saa kwintaba yaseTabhore.” Kwakufuneka uBharaki ahlanganise amadoda ayi-10 000 kwizizwe ezibini zakwaSirayeli. UDebhora wabaxelela ngesithembiso sikaThixo sokuba baza kuloyisa igorha elinguSisera neenqwelo zakhe zokulwa eziyi-900! Ngokuqinisekileyo samothusa eso sithembiso uBharaki. Kaloku uSirayeli wayengenamkhosi, singasathethi ke ngezixhobo zokulwa. Sekunjalo, uBharaki wavuma ukuya edabini, kodwa esithi uza kuya kuphela ukuba noDebhora uza kuhamba nabo.—ABagwebi 4:6-8; 5:6-8.

(Hebhere 11:32, 33) UYehova wenza ngokwesicelo sikaBharaki. Wavuma ukuba uDebhora ahambe, kodwa watsho ukuba uzuko aluzi kuya kwindoda. (ABagwebi 4:9) UThixo wayesele egqibile ukuba yayiza kuba ngumfazi oya kumcim’ igama uSisera ongendawo!

Namhlanje, amabhinqa ayaxhatshazwa, aphathwa ngobundlobongela ibe adlelw’ indlala ngeyona ndlela. Awafane anikwe isidima uThixo afuna asifumane. Kodwa uThixo uyawaxabisa ibe uwajonga ngendlela efanayo namadoda. (Roma 2:11; Galati 3:28) Umzekelo kaDebhora uphinda usikhumbuze ukuba uwanika imisebenzi nemiqondiso ebonisa ukuba uyawathanda ibe uyawathemba. Kubalulekile ukuba singaze siwajongele phantsi njengokuba kusenziwa ehlabathini.

“UMHLABA WANYIKIMA, AVUZA NAMAZULU”

UBharaki waya kuhlanganisa umkhosi wakhe. Wahlanganisa amadoda ayi-10 000 awayenesibindi sokuya kulwa nomkhosi owoyikekayo kaSisera. Njengoko uBharaki wayenyuka kwiNtaba iTabhore, kwakumchulumancisa ukwazi ukuba kukho indlela yokuwuqinis’ isibindi. Sifunda oku: “NoDebhora wenyuka naye.” (ABagwebi 4:10) Khawufan’ ucinge indlela ekumele ukuba omelela ngayo loo majoni xa ebona eli krotikazi limatsha kunye nawo ukuya kwiNtaba iTabhore, likulungele ukubeka ubomi balo esichengeni kuba lithembele kuYehova uThixo!

Xa uSisera weva ukuba uSirayeli uye wanesibindi sokuhlanganisa umkhosi oza kulwa naye, wakhawuleza wenz’ icebo. Iqela lookumkani bamaKanan lahlanganisa imikhosi yalo nomkhosi kaKumkani uYabhin ekusenokwenzeka ukuba wawungowona uluqilima phakathi kwayo. Emva koko iinqwelo zomkhosi kaSisera zatsho ngesandi esinyikimis’ umhlaba njengoko zihlanganisana ethafeni. AmaKanan ayenombono wawo ewuthi qhwi nje loo mkhosana wakwaSirayeli.—ABagwebi 4:12, 13; 5:19.

Wayeza kuthini uBharaki noDebhora njengokuba utshaba lwalusondela? Mhlawumbi ukuba babeye bahlala kumaqaqa eNtaba iTabhore babenokuba sethubeni lokuwoyisa loo mkhosi wamaKanan, kuba iinqwelo zokulwa zidinga indawo ethe tyaba ukuze zikwazi ukulwa kakuhle. Kodwa uBharaki wayezimisele ukulwa ngendlela uYehova ayalele ngayo, ngoko ke walindela kutsho uDebhora ukuba mazitshe! Ekugqibeleni, lade lafik’ elo xesha. UDebhora wathi: “Sukuma, kuba ngokuqinisekileyo le yimini uYehova aya kumnikela ngayo uSisera esandleni sakho. UYehova akaphumanga phambi kwakho na?” Emva koko siva oku: “UBharaki wehla kwiNtaba yaseTabhore enamadoda angamawaka alishumi emva kwakhe.”—ABagwebi 4:14. *

Umkhosi wamaSirayeli wehla uxhabashile ukuya ethafeni, ufunze ngqo kuloo mkhosi woyikekayo. Ngaba uYehova waphuma phambi kwawo njengokuba uDebhora wathembisayo? Loo mbuzo waphendulwa ngoko nangoko. Sifunda oku: “Umhlaba wanyikima, avuza namazulu.” Kwaba sisiwiliwili kumkhosi kaSisera owawuthe fu likratshi. Kwatsho isikhukulakazi, kangangokuba kwakungamanzi nje ndawo yonke! Kungekudala, ezi nqwelo zineentsimbi ezinkulu zaba luxanduva endaweni yokuba zincede. Zaxinga kolo daka kwaza akwabikho yazo.—ABagwebi 4:14, 15; 5:4.

Kwaba ngathi akwenzeki nto kumkhosi kaBharaki kuba wawusazi ukuba loo mkhukula usuka phi. Wangqala ngqo kumkhosi wamaKanan. Esebenza njengabathunywa bakaThixo, amaSirayeli awutshayela wonke umkhosi kaSisera. UMlambo iKishon waphuphuma, ukhukulisela zonke ezo zidumbu kuLwandle Olukhulu.—ABagwebi 4:16; 5:21.

Njengokuba uDebhora watshoyo, uYehova wabalwela abantu bakhe ngokoyisa umkhosi kaSisera

Namhlanje uYehova akasabathumeli kwidabi lokoqobo abantu bakhe. Kodwa ufuna balwe idabi lokholo. (Mateyu 26:52; 2 Korinte 10:4) Ukuba sizama ukuthobela uThixo kweli hlabathi siphila kulo, silwa elo dabi. Simele sibe nesibindi kuba abantu abamela uThixo kweli hlabathi bafumana intshutshiso ekrakra. Kodwa uYehova akatshintshanga. Usabalwela abantu abathembela kuye njengokuba wenzayo kuDebhora, uBharaki kunye namajoni akwaSirayeli wamandulo.

“NGOYENA UYA KUSIKELELWA PHAKATHI KWABAFAZI”

Elona joni linoburhalarhume kumajoni amaKanan labhunca! USisera owayetshotsha phambili ekutshutshiseni abantu bakaThixo, wacela kwabanentsente. Eshiya umkhosi wakhe kuloo mgxobhozo, waphinyaphinyela phakathi kwamajoni akwaSirayeli, esiya kweyona ndawo ikufutshane anokubalekela kuyo. Nanko ephaphatheka enqumla kwelo thafakazi, esoyika ukufunyanwa ngamajoni amaSirayeli, esingise kwiintente zikaHebheri, umKeni owayezahlule kuhlanga lwakhe, nowayenobuhlobo noKumkani uYabhin.—ABagwebi 4:11, 17.

Enxaphile, uSisera wafika kwiintente zikaHebheri. Wafika uHebheri engekho, kodwa kukho umkakhe uYaheli. Kuyacaca ukuba uSisera wayecinga ukuba noYaheli wayeza kuxhasa isigqibo somyeni wakhe sokugcina uxolo phakathi kwakhe noKumkani uYabhin. Mhlawumbi yayingathi qatha nokuthi qatha kuye into yokuba umfazi angacinga okanye enze into enxamnye nomyeni wakhe. Kwathi kanti uzibhudil’ izingqi! Kucacile ukuba uYaheli wayeyibona inkohlakalo yamaKanan, ibe mhlawumbi wabona nokuba umele enze isigqibo ngala mzuzu. Wayemele akhethe phakathi kokuyinceda le ndoda, okanye abe ngakwicala likaYehova aze alucim’ igama olu tshaba lwabantu bakhe. Kodwa wayenokuyenza njani loo nto? Lo mfazi wayenokusoyisa njani esi sigantsontso segorha?

Kwakufuneka uYaheli eze necebo elikhawulezileyo. Wanika uSisera indawo yokuphumla. USisera wamyalela ukuba angakhe achazele nabani na onokumbuza ukuba ulapho. Akuba engqengqile wamembathisa, waza xa ecela amanzi, uYaheli wampha ubisi. Kungekudala uSisera walala cum. UYaheli wasebenzisa izinto ezisoloko zisetyenziswa ngobuchule ngabafazi abahlala ezintenteni; isikhonkwane nehamile. Elungele ukumcim’ igama ngokwenjongo kaYehova, wagoba ngakwintloko kaSisera. Ngeli xesha, ukuthandabuza kwakunokumbeka engozini. Ngaba mhlawumbi wayecinga ngabantu bakaThixo, nendlela le ndoda ebikhwel’ izehlela kubo kangangamashumi eminyaka? Okanye wayecinga ngokumela uYehova? Eli bali alisityebiseli koko. Sazi nje ukuba kungekudala, itshoba lalal’ umbethe kuSisera!—ABagwebi 4:18-21; 5:24-27.

Kamva, uBharaki weza kukhangela ixhoba lakhe. Xa uYaheli wambonisa isidumbu sikaSisera sigrovozwe ngesikhonkwane entloko, waqonda ukuba isiprofeto sikaDebhora sizalisekile. Isigantsontso segorha sasibulewe ngumfazi! Nakuba abanye abahlalutyi banamhla bemgxeka uYaheli bemtyibela nangezithuko, uBharaki noDebhora abazange babone ngaloo ndlela. Baphefumlelwa ukuba bamncome uYaheli ngesibindi awaba naso kwingoma yabo bathi, “Ngoyena uya kusikelelwa phakathi kwabafazi.” (ABagwebi 4:22; 5:24) Khawujonge indlela uDebhora awamncoma ngayo uYaheli. Akazange ammonele ngempumelelo yakhe, kunoko wavuyiswa kukuzaliseka kwelizwi likaYehova.

Ukufa kukaSisera kwamshiya eyinj’ ekhutshwe amazinyo uKumkani uYabhin. Eso ke yaba sisiphelo sengcinezelo yamaKanan. Kwaba luxolo iminyaka eyi-40 emva koko. (ABagwebi 4:24; 5:31) Basikelelwa ngokwenene uDebhora, uBharaki noYaheli ngokuthembela kuYehova uThixo! Ukuba sixelisa umzekelo kaDebhora wokumela uYehova ngesibindi, size sincede nabanye benjenjalo, uYehova uya kusisikelela ngempumelelo noxolo oluhlala luhleli.
